This mediterranean native is an easy to grow border-filler. To 22 – 24 ½ in.
high. Attractive large, snowy-white flowers with deep black centers are
followed by intriguing and decorative, spidery seed pods. Will make a talking
point in the garden and indoors as a cut or dried flower. Frost tolerant.
Prefer full/part sun in rich, well-drained soil. Regular water. All zones.

Heavenly Blue, 'Southern Star' displays an intense glacier blue color rarely
seen in flowers. Flowers are 1 in. across. Blooms mid summer to early fall.
Deadheading before fruit set will prolong the bloom time. Oxypetalum attracts
hummingbirds like other members of the milkweed family. Produces very
decorative seed pods and can be overwintered as a houseplant. Prefers rich
soil. Full sun.

high, 1 – 1 ½ ft. wide. Leaves are long, narrow, round on ends, slightly sticky
and aromatic. Long-lasting cut flowers. Adapts best to well-drained soils. Full
